7 Quick Steps to Perfectly Gift Wrap a Present!

Are you like most of us when it comes to wrapping a present – confused on the quickest and simplest way to have the wrapping look as good as the gift inside? With Christmas around the corner, we thought it was the perfect time to provide a quick step by step guide on the perfect way to wrap a present.

Step 1
Make sure you have everything you need in one place – paper, gift, scissors, tape.

Step 2
Work from a large flat space with ample room to manoeuvre.

Step 3
Roll your wrapping paper out flat on the table and place your gift in the centre of the paper upside down to ensure edges and tape are hidden on the back. Bring the paper over each size of the product until they meet. This will provide a guide as to how much paper you will require and cut accordingly.

Step 4
Place your gift in the middle of the paper, upside down and pull the paper from one side and tape it to the middle of the box. Before bringing the second side of paper up and over the first, create a clean seam by folding over the last half-inch or so of the paper, using your fingers to create a tight crease. Now bring this side up so it just overlaps the first one and fix with tape.

Step 5
Start on one end and fold down the top flap onto the side of the gift creating two little wings at the side. Flatten those in against the box folding the remaining triangle of paper. Secure with tape.

Step 6
Repeat step 5 on the opposite end of the gift.

Step 7
You’re all done - finish the gift by adding a decorative ribbon & gift tag!!
